Dear Distinguished Colleagues and Fellow Scientists,

            It is our pleasure to cordially invite you to participate in the next AWPP2009, which will be held in Penang, Malaysia. We invite your technical contributions in the form of an ORAL and/or POSTER presentation.

For your information, this workshop has been organized by the Japan Society of Polymer Processing (JSPP) and conducted in many Asian countries in recognition of the importance of this region as a polymer-processing hub. The first workshop was marked by the attendance of leading industrialists, engineers and academicians in the field of advanced materials and polymers technologies from all over Asia. The list of participating and host countries has since grown to include China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. The AWPP2009 will be held in Penang, Malaysia, which is known to be an industrial city that is hosting many multinational companies including Sony, Intel, Agilent and Motorola.

The AWPP2009 will provide an exclusive forum for intellectually stimulating and engaging interactions among the industrialists and academicians to share their recent scientific breakthroughs and achievements, and will attract tremendous interest among institutions keen to engage in interactions with the regional bodies to discuss potential business opportunities, as well as various collaborative development of materials and polymer related technologies for automotive, electronics and industrial applications
